Owner and Operator Jeffrey Matrazzo is a second-generation mason from Ballston Lake, NY. His passion for the trade stemmed from working with his father at a young age, where he learned the fundamentals of masonry and customer service. Jeff's early experience shaped his meticulous nature of exceeding client expectations from the start of every project. After years of gaining the extensive knowledge required for the trade alongside his father, he started J. Ryan Contractors, LLC in 2019. Jeff's background in residential and commercial markets throughout the Capital Region has helped him identify the company's specific service areas.
J. Ryan Contractors, LLC was founded on three core values that are the absolute principles in supporting our mission to be an exemplary masonry and concrete construction business for years to come.
We are consistent and accountable for every project's actions, methods, and expectations. Jeff holds himself and his team of professionals to very high standards so that not only are our clients proud of the quality of work, but we are too.
Being a one-person business initially, Jeff relied heavily on a can-do, positive attitude with every client, vendor, and contractor essential to our company’s success. We approach every project with an open mindset and willingness to go the extra mile, big or small.

Over the past few years, J. Ryan Contractors, LLC has grown from a one-person business to a team of talented individuals. Jeff has brought on several employees that model his commitment to the trade, customer service, and professionalism.
Jeff and his wife, Meghan, live in Ballston Lake with their sons, Arthur and Henry, and dog, Ranger. They spend their free time outdoors exploring the Adirondacks during all the beautiful seasons Upstate New York offers.
